Q: You now live and work at Veracruz. But, I imagine you still follow Cuba at a distance. Do you think the island is always the same or has it changed? How have the last political events with Fidel Castro, more and more sick and tired, changed the people of the island, if they have at all?
A: Since I was forced to leave the island in 2006 I don’t think Cuba has changed a lot nor do I think that much will change in the years to come. People continue to wait, tired and desperate, for something to happen. But for the time being the only thing possible is to escape or to continue to wait while you see your life, the best years of your life, flowing rapidly in front of your eyes.(read more here)
